SMS Union.

A very similar union to DIN. It also consists of a round slotted nut in 304 stainless, Weld liner and weld male in 316, and a “L” style EPDM joint ring.

·         Sizes 1″ OD – 4″ OD available ex-stock

·         The standard ‘L’ style joint ring is EPDM, but other compounds are available on request.

·         Blank liners in 316 are also stocked.

·         C-Spanners to suit both SMS & DIN (1″ – 4″) is also stocked.

·         4″ Large type union can be supplied on request.

DIN  Union.

DIN unions are manufactured in accordance with DIN 11851. Consisting of a round slotted nut in 304, Weld liner and weld male in 316, and a “D” style EPDM joint ring.

·         Sizes 1″ OD – 4″ OD available ex-stock.

·         The standard ‘D’ style joint ring is EPDM, but other compounds are available on request.

·         Heavy duty blank liners in 316 are also stocked.

·         C-Spanners to suit both DIN & SMS (1″ – 4″) is also stocked.

·         Metric Din is also stocked from DN10 (10mm) upto DN150 (150mm)

IDF Union.

The IDF Union (International Dairy Federation) is considered to be a superior fitting to RJT as it has a smoother, cleaner bore reducing the possibility of bug traps etc. Ideal for use with C.I.P (Clean In Place) systems.

Similar to an RJT union, with a nut in 304 stainless steel, a weld liner and male part in 316, and a “T” style joint ring in nitrile.

·         Sizes 1″ OD – 4″ OD available ex-stock.

·         Manufactured to BS4825 Part 4 Standard.

·         The “T” style joint ring is supplied in nitrile – EPDM also available.

·         Blank liners in 316 can be supplied.

·         IDF spanners can be supplied on request.
